Photographer, multimedia storyteller and Urban Exodus creator, Alissa Hessler, has spent the last decade photographing, interviewing and sharing the stories of people who are reconnecting with the natural world and building more fulfilling and self-sufficient lives, both inside and outside of the city.

The podcast has been such a welcomed and exciting evolution of the project. No one could write someone's story better than they could tell it and there is so much wisdom to be learned from people who have taken a leap of faith - believing in themselves, their dreams and their vision for a better future.
